On Sunday, the award show season came to a close. A sigh of relief from Hollywood’s leading ladies, perhaps this year wasn’t so bad with the help of CBD products that have done everything from calm their nerves, provide pain relief, and improve overall wellness.
The Hollywood Reporter dove in toget the scoop. Since marijuana was legalized in California in 2018, stars and their stylists have become even more open about turning to CBD as a non-psychoactive, anti-inflammatory healing addition to makeup foundations and more. Luxe CBD brand Lord Jones has long attracted star stylists like Karla Welch (Tracee Ellis Ross), makeup artist Pati Dubroff (Priyanka Chopra), makeup artist Jo Baker (Lucy Boynton) and stylist Erica Cloud (Kacey Musgraves).
If you’ve worn heels, you know that they’re not always the most comfortable of footwear. It was noted that Mellissa McCarthy found something to combat this issue. CBD oils and lotions. And apparently, she isn’t the only one. In an article from Bustle,
“According to the E! Live From The Red Carpet special correspondents, McCarthy slathered CBD oil on her toes before hitting the red carpet – presumably to help prevent the pain that can come along with wearing high heels for an hours-long event.”
The piece cites stars like Mandy Moore and Michelle Williams who are also using CBD as a way to help ease their high heel woes. While preparing for the red carpet, Moore told Coveteur that she would be using Lord Jones CBD oil on her feet thanks to the recommendation of her stylist Erica Cloud. Apparently, Moore and her stylist weren’t alone. Oh, and Olivia Wilde uses the same product.
Lord Jones took to Instagram to publically thank all their consumers with celebrity status…
“At a year for us. It is surreal to have our little passion project featured in newspapers and magazines and championed by generous celebrities. This year we broke boundaries with courageous companies like Sephora and The Standard. We are forever grateful to everyone who has supported us. But what keeps us going are the inspiring messages you share with us. We are incredibly blessed to be doing work we love and feel a strong sense of purpose everyday. Thank you all for making our dreams come true. We love you. May your 2019 be filled with peace and joy. ?????? Happy New Year!
